Get Set Team Camp - New Format for 2022! July 15th-17th Held on the University of Minnesota Campus
The "Get Set Team Camp" is designed for varsity and junior varsity teams that want to train and compete prior to the competitive season. The camp is three days with a guarantee of competitive matches, wash drills, and skill instruction for each team. Two 1 hour coaching clinics featuring the University of Minnesota coaching staff will be provided as part of the "Get Set Team Camp" registration.
Teams will now have the option to join the camp as a tournament team if you only want the competitive aspect of team camp. Teams must provide a coach or chaperone if the HS coach is not available for the camp. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot at team camp.
Schedule is tentative and subject to change: Day 1 (Friday) 12:00pm - Overnight teams check in to the dorms 12:30pm - Commuter teams check in to camp 2:00-4:30pm - Coaches Choice Skill Training 4:30-6:00pm - Dinner 6:00-8:00pm - 6v6 drills vs an opponent 8:00-9:00pm - Coaches Clinic with Gopher Staff, Alternative Activity for Campers
Day 2 (Saturday) 7:30-8:30am - Breakfast 9:00-11:30am - Team building and positional training 11:30-1:00pm - Lunch 12:00-12:30pm - Tournament only teams checked in by 12:30 1:00-4:00pm - Pool Play 4:00-6:00pm - Dinner 6:00-8:00pm - Pool Play 8:00-9:00pm - Coaches clinic with Gopher Staff, alternative activity for campers
Day 3 (Sunday) 9:00-11:00am Tournament Play 11:00am-1:00pm Lunch 1:00-3:00pm Tournament Play *Teams will have the option to continue playing throughout the day after elimination
Commuter Teams: $1750 per team for full camp $599 per team for tournament only teams (pool play and bracket) Overnight Teams: Overnight teams must provide a chaperone that stays in the dorms. Full Camp: $1750 per team Plus $175 per team member (player or coach) for meals (6 meals) and housing (2 nights)
Tournament Only: $599 per team for tournament only teams (pool play and bracket) Plus $75 per team member (player or coach) for meals (3 meals) and housing (1 nights)
Meals provided for overnight teams: Friday - Dinner Saturday - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner* Sunday - Breakfast* and Lunch* * indicates meals that are provided for overnight tournament only teams
Overnight teams are required to purchase meals. If commuter teams wish to eat in the dining halls please contact us to arrange this.
